On Feb. 19, 2020, at the Uisp National headquarters, the Ares 2.0 Association met with partners of the EYESS (European Youth Engaging in Solidarity and Sport) project for a training day on organizing a social communication campaign.
The EYESS project is a European Union co-funded initiative that aims to combat discrimination by organizing youth events against racism and discrimination.
On this occasion, the Ares 2.0 Association met with the project partner, the Πανεπιστήμιο Πελοποννήσου (University of the Peloponnese), to discuss how to communicate the pilot events replicating the model of Antiracist World Cups in other European countries linked to the EYESS project. The meeting provided a valuable opportunity to share experiences and learn from the expertise of the project partners.
During the training day, participants discussed different communication strategies and how to best use social media to promote events. They also discussed how to involve young people in organizing events and how to create a support network for them.
We believe that effective communication is key to promoting such events and raising awareness of discrimination issues.
